Spring Planting Tip – Newspaper Weeds Away

A perfect way to use old newspapers, save money and control your weeds!
Place wet newspapers around your plant beds and then cover with mulch or pebbles.

This works best when planting new plants, because you can place the newspapers over the soil, then cut the area around where you will place the new plants.

The newspaper will keep the weeds from coming up but still will allow your plants to grow.  The recommended amount of newspaper is five layers.
